Former England manager Sir Bobby Robson has passed away this morning at the age of 76, having finally lost a long battle against cancer. He holds a special place in English football as both the most successful national team manager since World Cup-winning Sir Alf Ramsey, and its most successful coaching export at club level.
Most closely associated in his homeland with Newcastle United, Ipswich Town and the Three Lions, Robson won huge respect and acclaim on the continent for his work at PSV in Holland, Sporting and Porto in Portugal, and Barcelona in Spain. As a result, despite the Geordie roots of which he was so proud, Sir Bobby defied the image of the insular Englishman, and was an influence on the careers of the magical Brazilian pair Romario and Ronaldo, as well as being the man who nurtured Jose Mourinho's rise to prominence as a coach.

Vieira back again to EPL
Inter Milan's former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira wants to join Tottenham Hotspur and would be a great role model, said manager Harry Redknapp.
Vieira played 406 games for Arsenal in nine seasons, winning three league titles and three FA Cups, and it would be a major surprise for the fans of both clubs if he joined Spurs.
The Spurs manager believes Vieira still has a lot to offer and it would be a real coup if he could sign him.
Is it true or not. Let's wait and see. There's a couple of weeks before the league begin

MU without Ronaldo
What happened next season?? Manchester United without Cristiano Ronaldo.. It is sad to know that the best player in the world not in EPL anymore.. We will missed him especially on this :-
So what will make you missed CR??
1. Who's the free kick taker?? I don't know who is expert on this deadball situation. Ryan Giggs is not in his prime..
2. Goals from header. Who will win the header?? Berbatov?? He is far from CR..
3. Footskill. I think he is the best. There's no replacement.. Maybe Nani want to follow his colleagues.. But can he??
4. No more diving act.. As we know CR is best to get penalty..
So what will make you missed CR??

No Gunners for Chamakh
Marouane Chamakh has resigned himself to missing out on a big-money move to Arsenal.
The Bordeaux striker has been strongly linked with a move to the Gunners all summer, and was rumoured to be seen by Arsene Wenger as the ideal replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor, who joined Manchester City last week.
But the 25-year-old has all but given up on a dream move to the Emirate. He also said that Arsenal is his dream team but that talks are not advanced enough and that he will be just as happy if he ends up at Sunderland or Blackburn. He wants Arsenal but if they don’t move fast enough he will end up at either Blackburn or Sunderland.

Owen first goal for Man Utd
Debut for Michael Owen and he score. The friendly game match between Manchester United vs Malaysia held at Bukit Jalil Stadium. That goal also condem Malaysia hope to win the game.Owen showed the scoring instinct Ferguson knew he had when he made his shock decision to buy the former Liverpool star last month.Ferguson confirmed Owen is likely to start Monday's re-arranged game against the same opposition along with Federico Macheda as he tries to ensure all his forwards are fit for the start of the new season.
However, Owen could not have had a better start to his United career after his shock signing for the Red Devils.

Liverpool sign Mavinga
Liverpool have signed French left-back Chris Mavinga from Paris St Germain.
Mavinga, 18, can also play in the centre of defence and has represented his country at under-18 level. The Reds reportedly fought off competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal in order to secure the defender's signature.
Mavinga becomes the second young French player to join the ranks at Anfield, David Ngog being the first during last summer.
Will he will replace Jamie Carragher in future?? Let's wait and see.

Zhirkov move to BPL
Chelsea have completed the signing of Russian international Yuri Zhirkov from CSKA Moscow for a reported £18m fee.
The 25-year-old completed his medical in London on Monday and has agreed a four-year deal, believed to be worth £80,000-a-week.
Zhirkov, who was hugely impressive at Euro 2008, can play on the left wing or at left-back and was given a ringing endorsement by temporary Blues boss Guus Hiddink, who has since returned to his job as coach of the Russian national team.

Former Manchester United and Everton winger Andrei Kanchelskis, famed for his direct running and mazy dribbling style, believes Chelsea's first major transfer of the summer; Yuri Zhirkov, will make a big impact in the Premier League.
He further stated that his settling-in period could be as effective and productive as Andrey Arshavin's at Arsenal, providing he first tackles the complexities of the English language

Michael Owen to Manchester United
Who?? Owen set to join MU?? Is it true??
Latest
I don't think Owen success at MU.. His prime is over.. He is full of injury.. DOn't sign him Fergie
Michael Owen has been heavily linked with a shock move to Manchester United according to The Guardian.
It is said that the injury prone striker has had his services called upon to provide goals for the Red Devils in the wake of the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez - all pending a medical at Old Trafford.
Reports say that Owen is currently holding talks with the Premier League champions as both parties move to complete one of the most unexpected transfers in English football history.
The 29-year-old's glittering career looked to be all but over as previous transfer speculation had linked him to teams in the lower half of the league, but the former England international's luck seems to have changed.
The transfer is likely to spark much controversy amongst United fans, however, a footballing figurehead such as Sir Alex Ferguson is sure to be unfazed as he looks to rebuild his attacking force.
Stephen Crawford, Goal.com
Latest
New Manchester United striker Michael Owen insists he is fighting fit and his injury-plagued past should not be a concern to fans of his new club.
The 29-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Premier League champions after swift negotiations which lasted less than 48 hours.
A chequered history with injuries - hamstring problems at Liverpool, knee ligament issues at Newcastle - was thought to have deterred most of England's top clubs from considering signing the out-of-contract striker but United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had no hesitation in taking what most consider a risk.
But Owen believes his new boss was right not to be frightened off by reams of medical notes detailing exactly why he had spent much of his four-year spell on Tyneside on the sidelines.
