Sir Bobby Robson passed away

Former England manager Sir Bobby Robson has passed away this morning at the age of 76, having finally lost a long battle against cancer. He holds a special place in English football as both the most successful national team manager since World Cup-winning Sir Alf Ramsey, and its most successful coaching export at club level.

Most closely associated in his homeland with Newcastle United, Ipswich Town and the Three Lions, Robson won huge respect and acclaim on the continent for his work at PSV in Holland, Sporting and Porto in Portugal, and Barcelona in Spain. As a result, despite the Geordie roots of which he was so proud, Sir Bobby defied the image of the insular Englishman, and was an influence on the careers of the magical Brazilian pair Romario and Ronaldo, as well as being the man who nurtured Jose Mourinho's rise to prominence as a coach.

MU without Ronaldo

What happened next season?? Manchester United without Cristiano Ronaldo.. It is sad to know that the best player in the world not in EPL anymore.. We will missed him especially on this :-

1. Who's the free kick taker?? I don't know who is expert on this deadball situation. Ryan Giggs is not in his prime..
2. Goals from header. Who will win the header?? Berbatov?? He is far from CR..
3. Footskill. I think he is the best. There's no replacement.. Maybe Nani want to follow his colleagues.. But can he??
4. No more diving act.. As we know CR is best to get penalty..

So what will make you missed CR??

Michael Owen to Manchester United

Who?? Owen set to join MU?? Is it true??

Michael Owen has been heavily linked with a shock move to Manchester United according to The Guardian.

It is said that the injury prone striker has had his services called upon to provide goals for the Red Devils in the wake of the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez - all pending a medical at Old Trafford.

Reports say that Owen is currently holding talks with the Premier League champions as both parties move to complete one of the most unexpected transfers in English football history.

The 29-year-old's glittering career looked to be all but over as previous transfer speculation had linked him to teams in the lower half of the league, but the former England international's luck seems to have changed.

The transfer is likely to spark much controversy amongst United fans, however, a footballing figurehead such as Sir Alex Ferguson is sure to be unfazed as he looks to rebuild his attacking force.

Latest

New Manchester United striker Michael Owen insists he is fighting fit and his injury-plagued past should not be a concern to fans of his new club.
The 29-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Premier League champions after swift negotiations which lasted less than 48 hours.

A chequered history with injuries - hamstring problems at Liverpool, knee ligament issues at Newcastle - was thought to have deterred most of England's top clubs from considering signing the out-of-contract striker but United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had no hesitation in taking what most consider a risk.

But Owen believes his new boss was right not to be frightened off by reams of medical notes detailing exactly why he had spent much of his four-year spell on Tyneside on the sidelines.
